I have just bought this beautiful 6 volt Beetle, The first Beetle that I have bought in ages.
They are very, very hard to find, people just want to much Money for them, as you have probably found this out for yourself!
It is a 1960 model very original (although it has been repainted) and only done a genuine 69000mls yes, only 69000!                                                                                                                                                                                                               It drives like a brand new car that just came of the VW dealership's showroom! It feels very tight in all aspects of the vehicle, Mechanically & whilst driving her.                                                                                                                                         There is plenty of power from the engine & the gearbox does everything right, It is an absolute pleasure to drive.                                                                                                                                                                                                                     It Still has the original plastic cover on the base of the rear seat, as fitted from new by VW (see picture above)                                                                                                                                                                                                                        It still has the original 1960's number plates fitted, original Sunvisor, Aluminium dress rings etc. All the numbers match up to 1960 Beetle, with the original engine still fitted to the car.

Above is a 1974, manual Beetle Sedan. When I purchased this vehicle I was told that it was a genuine 1 Lady owner car. It is Martini Olive in colour, with matching Tan trim, showing 76,781 klm's. It is a very clean, tidy & original car. It is in excellent condition mechanically and drives exceptionally well.  VIN: 1342704210.

KOMBI'S, CAMPERVANS, BUSES & VAN'S:

 

Below is a March 1978 Blue Van being presented basically as I purchased it from a previous service customer of mine of about 10 years or so. It is all in a clean, tidy & original condition for its age, drives exceptionally well and does everything right. It is fitted with a 2ltr motor with an genuine 2.0ltr gearbox. Once i have completed the total Re-furbishing of the Van (which will be the same as an original Campervan) with new cabinetry, Fridge Cooker, Sink, Rock & roll bed etc, It will be put up for sale. Below, I have another van (a 1976 Yellow Manual) coming up for sale once i have completed the project.
I have just purchased it with the intention of re-furbishing it with the installation of a brand new full size 3 seater Rock n Roll bed in the rear that has been fully certified.
I also intend to fit a new Waeco Fridge as well as a new alcohol Cooker, all fitted into new a new cabinet lined around the cooker with heavy duty stainless steel.
It will be very similar inside the rear as the White one on my Website (I have attached the pictures of the White one I am referring to, below the Yellow Van pictures)
Until I complete the work that I am currently doing and get my costings, I wont know how much i will be asking for her, I hope you can appreciate this. As soon as completed i will post a price.

Someone has taken out the rear seats & fitted it out as a Camper as you can see but it is definitely plated as an 8 seater Bus (very hard to find these days). It is fitted with a genuine 2ltr motor and a genuine 2.0ltr gearbox. It drives very well indeed and does everything it right. I will be selling this Bus "AS-IS" or if you wish to modify it in any way, just let me know what it is that you want done & I will do it for you, obviously at an additional cost. Vin: 2272089845.

I do have another Campervan (1976 Yellow Auto) that i have just purchased with the intention of totally re-furbishing it inside & out.
My intention is to totally re-furb it the same as the Orange/White Camper on my website, or if I get a perspective purchaser wanting to buy this Camper prior to completion, I could     re-furb it to their specifications.
It will be very similar inside as the Orange/White Camper on my website, scroll down further to find this Campervan.
Until I complete the work that I am currently doing and get my costings, I wont know how much i will be asking for her, I hope you can appreciate this. As soon as completed i will post a price. Below is a 1979 White Manual Van, another classic example of a lovely van which has been kept in it's original condition without modifications from Manufacture. It is all very clean, tidy & in original condition for its age. It drives exceptionally well and does everything right. It is fitted with a Genuine 2.0ltr motor & still has the Genuine 2.0ltr gearbox fitted. VIN: 2392107683.

Progress Update:

The above seat that has now been fitted to the van is complianced as well as being engineered to legally seat a total of 5 people in the Van. As you would have already discovered, most Vans are only complianced for only 2 seats, this is unsuitable to most people as they have Children or want to take friends with them on their adventures. This is the correct way of alleviating this problem without all the Legal & Insurance implications. The seat is also fitted with provision for "3 Child restraint mountings" in the seat as well as again being Complianced. I have not yet completed this project as its ongoing, with the mattresses still to be fitted to the seat/bed into the rear of the Van, as well as a fridge & cooker unit behind the drivers seat and a small cupboard with a sink, tap etc to be fitted behind the passenger seat. Once I have completed the work on this project I will update my website for your viewing.

If you have an existing Van and would like to increase the seating capacity by having the above seat fitted, then I can do the same for you.

Another progress update:

I have now completed re-trimming both front seats, replaced the 2 front door trims as well as all the other trim panels in the rear of the Van. Both the rear Mattresses have now been completed with all new 3" foam as well as being re-covered with new vinyl. New (19mm) Ply flooring has been installed and has been re-covered with new Lino "White/Black squares"

Once i have completed the work on this project i will update my website as well as updating the increase in costs, pictures etc. Keep an eye on my website for updates if it interests you.

Above is a 1976 Orange Manual Camper with a 2 ltr motor and a 2ltr gearbox, It is in very good condition overall considering her age, Mechanically it is in really good condition the motor feels strong , the gearbox does everything right and the synchro's work well. It drives extremely well, has lots of power and does everything right. I will be selling this van "AS-IS" no Reg & no RWC. VIN: 2362105156. Email me for more details & Pics.

I have now decided that within the next month or so I Intend to totally refurbish the above vans interior! I will be decking it out exactly the same as a Campervan with a brand new Waeco 80 Ltr Fridge which has a separate internal Freezer compartment operating on 12/240 volt, a brand new 2 burner Metho cooker (eliminates dangerous Gas containers & lines in the Van) all brand new Cabinetry, Rock & roll bed with new hinges, new stainless steel sink & hand pump, all new lighting, 6X9 speakers, etc, etc. Once I have completed this project I will post Photo's of before & after for you to view, so keep an eye out for this one. An alternative is, If you have an existing Van but its all shabby inside or even if its empty and you would like to refurbished it then I can do the same for you, the cost will all depend on what your needs are.

Above, I am offering for sale a very rare & original 1975 (Plated, August 1975) Volkswagen Campervan (Campmobile) Orange in colour fitted with an 1800cc motor (still the original motor) & the original 1800cc gearbox. It is in fantastic condition considering her age & it is all in original condition. Everything is original, including window & body stickers, Number Plates, owners manual, fridge manuals, cooker manual, radio manual, free diagnostic vouchers, fire extinguisher manual, RACV motor vehicle policy, seatbelt manual, etc, all the above still in the original VW hand book wallet. The van has had 2 owners since new and it has been fastidiously maintained with the original service book stamped right up until its last service in Septenber2007!!! (Serviced by a Porsche mechanic). She is showing 95879Klm on the speedometer.
